Dr. Saliha Kırbaş

About me:
I am an experienced specialist in dermatology and cosmetology. I graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1999, where I discovered my deep interest in dermatology. I pursued my specialization in Dermatology and Venereology at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, completing it between 2007 and 2012. After gaining valuable experience working at private hospitals for seven years, I decided to establish my own clinic in Ankara in 2019, with the aim of providing more personalized and high-quality care to my patients.
 
I diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, including moles, fungal and bacterial infections, and vitiligo. For mole treatments, I utilize techniques such as excisional biopsy (surgical mole removal), laser and/or cauterization, and cryotherapy (freezing with cold spray). For diagnosing many dermatological diseases, I perform punch biopsies and pathological examinations.
 
Thanks to the functional medicine training I received, I take a holistic approach to challenging conditions encountered in dermatology such as acne vulgaris (acne), psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic eczema, rosacea, urticaria, lichen planus, allergic and inflammatory skin diseases. By identifying the root causes of these issues, I can offer my patients effective and lasting treatment options, instead of only symptomatic treatments. I provide comprehensive care for skin, mucosal, and nail diseases such as herpes simplex (cold sores), warts, genital warts, sexually transmitted diseases, folliculitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, oral aphthae, Behçet's disease, nail disorders, nail fungus, traumatic nail injuries, and ingrown nails.
 
Keeping up with today's rapidly evolving technologies, I incorporate the latest advancements in medical applications and cosmetic procedures into my practice. I use state-of-the-art equipment such as fractional lasers, gold needle devices, various laser hair removal technologies (including alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and diode lasers), laser lipolysis, Nd:YAG and IPL vascular lasers, and BBL laser for skin color lightening and spot treatments with Q-switched lasers. I also offer Innofacial skin care services for comprehensive skin maintenance.
 
In addition to anti-aging treatments like botox, fillers, mesotherapy, youth vaccines, collagen boosters, and dermaroller therapy, I also perform thread lifting procedures. For the treatment of scars, burns, surgical and acne scars, and stretch marks, I employ a combination of fractional laser, gold needle, PRP, and mesotherapy for optimal results.
For patients experiencing hair loss, I conduct thorough dermatological examinations and provide medical treatments tailored to the specific cause and type of hair loss, including PRP, mesotherapy, and intralesional injection therapies.
 
In treating hyperpigmentation and skin spots, I combine IPL and Q-switched laser support with carbon peeling, enzymatic peels, mesotherapy, dermaroller, and PRP to achieve effective results. For acne management, I offer treatments that include skin care, carbon peeling, pore tightening, gold needle therapy for reducing acne scars and redness, and chemical peels for quick acne treatment. Post-acne, I develop individualized combination treatments for scar management. Through medical foot care practices, I address conditions such as nail fungus, ingrown nails, calluses, and warts using medical, surgical, or laser methods.
 
I firmly believe that the secret to professional medical care lies in accurate dermatological diagnosis and treatment. A correct diagnosis is the critical first step towards effective treatment and achieving the best outcomes for my patients.
